Diagnosing a hematopoietic malignancy during shoulder arthroplasty: A case report

Introduction. Determining the cause of shoulder pain is usually a challenge as many problems, such rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, osteonecrosis, rotator cuff arthropathy, traumatic fractures, conditions cervical vertebra, and neo-plasms, can produce similar symptoms. The diagnosis regarded incidental, however, chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) by histopathological evaluation performed on lymph nodes excised during procedure has not been reported in literature, to best our knowledge. We present CLL-small lymphoma (SLL) case diagnosed incidentally reverse arthroplasty. Case report. A 69-year-old female with history left proximal humerus fracture year prior was presented outpatient clinic pain. non-union revealed radiographically. patient underwent During surgery, 2.5 ? 1.5 1 cm sized node observed near cephalic vein. biopsy result be CLL-SLL. had no early postoperative complications dis-charged two days after.
